Lakeland Park, Shadyside Park, and Bolinger Park are administered by the Burns Harbor Park Board and its Director. 
Park Board meetings are the 1st Wednesday of every month at 5pm in the Arts & Crafts Building located at Lakeland Park, 1200 Lakeland Drive.

LAKELAND PARK
Lakeland Park consists of 29 acres and a lake open for swimming. Lakeland Park is open on a seasonal basis; Memorial Day to Labor Day. An annual or daily entrance fee is charged. The park is staffed with a Director, Assistant Director, Maintenance Personnel, Lifeguards and Gatekeepers.

9am - 9pm
Swimming 10 am - 6pm when lifeguard is on duty. In the event of inclement weather the beach may be closed.

A variety of activities without the crowds is what awaits you at Lakeland Park. Water enthusiasts can choose swimming, fishing or ride in our row boats or paddleboats.

  

The landlubber can walk the path around the lake, play horseshoes, sand volleyball, and basketball. Children can burn off their endless energy at our playgrounds. Teams can take advantage of our softball and soccer field facilities.

If all that is too busy for your recreational tastes, then enjoy a quiet picnic at one of our shaded shelters followed by a restful stretch on our grass covered hill.

Our shelters can be reserved for group activities anytime during the park season; also available for rental is the Arts & Crafts Building and Gazebo.

BOLINGER PARK
Located in Harbor Trails Subdivision is a new playground structure and swings
with plenty of green space for football, soccer, Frisbee or a family picnic. A covered shelter is planned for 2009.

SHADYSIDE PARK
Just off US Hwy 12 and West of State Road 149 you'll find Shadyside Park. Enjoy a shaded picnic while the kids play basketball, tetherball or on the playground.
